  • Rashmi, who has been married to Asif Shahbazkar for 12 years, has registered a complaint against two people at the Bandra police station.

  • Breaking into tears in front of reporters, Rashmi said that her husband tortures and assaults her daily. She said that she was facing a "serious threat" to her "life".
  • Rashmi also said that Asif had recently married another Hindu girl half his age, and is looking to convert her too.
  • She said that Asif and his friend Muneeb exchange messages about converting Hindu girls.
