  • Three days after the crime, the brother-in-law of murdered Haryanvi singer Harshita Dahiya, Dinesh Mathur, has confessed that he was behind the killing.
  • Mathur, who is in Tihar jail for raping Dahiya and killing her mother, was the prime suspect. He had been accused by his former wife Lata, Dahiya's sister.
  • He has now been sent to four-day police custody for Dahiya's murder.
