Mobil phones, laptops, mp3 players…. Who does not own one, who can imagine a life without them nowadays? These masterpieces of technology have revolutionized and simplified our lives in many ways. But what may seem a Green and clean IT industry in western countries is in fact a very ‘dirty’ one in the rest of the world: from the mines in Africa, through the assembling factories in Asia and the handling of electronic scrap in India, there is no much green to talk about.
The following film gives an overview of the problems related to the IT industry and demands a change in this industrial sector.
