Primrose Has Changed – Here’s why

It’s time for the big reveal! Primrose’s look and feel has changed, with a more powerful system backing up our ever-growing Online Garden Centre.

It all started with a brand new warehouse, expanding our distribution network so we could send our great plants and furniture out smoother and faster than ever. From there, we hired loads more warehouse staff and online specialists to make Primrose better at everything we were already doing.

The design

As we brought in all of these new things, we started looking at our old logo: . There are other variations out there, but this was the one sitting comfortably at the top of every page on primrose.co.uk, and it’s the one that came to mind for changing and updating.

We realised it wasn’t doing our ever-growing Garden Centre business justice, so we’ve revamped it to this:

Discover Everything Garden, is what we’ll hope everyone coming to our new site will be able to do. Green for the plants, Pink for the Primrose, Light Blue for the water features, and Dark Blue to represent the modern shopping world and everything else in Primrose’s ever-growing catalogue. That blue now weaves throughout the new website, bringing with it a much cleaner look and simpler navigation too.

It’s still a flower, just now a bit more abstract. Like the centre of a sunflower, or a multicoloured allium.

The site

Primrose’s new website is packed to the gills with algorithms and programmes so literally will only get better. Smarter suggestions for add ons or alternatives, and clever little bubbles to let you know when a saving’s on the cards.

To celebrate this grand opening, we’re starting the site with a bang and an exciting Winter Sale, packed full of winter savings and garden greats. Shop seeds (all reduced), sail shades, awnings and more, and check out our new website while you’re at it.

We hope you love it as much as we do!
