Yesterday, the NBA took a night off, leaving us with only NHL games to select from to try and win back our Blog Parlay Championship and finally end the losing streak.

Once again, we were very close but ended up with a draw. Really.

The Seattle Kraken crushed the Arizona Coyotes but hit the over as predicted, while the Minnesota Wild lost in a shootout to the Vegas Golden Knights, and the Nashville Predators and Dallas Stars combined for six total goals ending in a push.

That brings our weekly parlay record to 0-1-1 to start the week, with a 2-3-1 record on individual picks.

Today, we return to the same-game parlay, and we’re jumping on the court with one of the biggest games of the night.

New Orleans Pelicans over Sacramento Kings (-169)

The Kings have won three of the last five games and are 6-4 in the last ten. The Pelicans have won four of the last five games and are 7-3 in the last ten games.

Each team has won on home court against the other. The Kings are 24-14 on the road, while the Pelicans are 25-13 on the road.

Sacramento vs New Orleans will be close, but we’re siding with the home team from Nawlens.

New Orleans Pelicans -4 over Sacramento Kings (-110)

The Kings are 8-5 ats when facing a spread of +3-4.5 points, while the Pelicans are 3-1-0 ats as the favorite.

The first two meetings weren’t close, ending with spreads of 15 points and 32 points.

Following the head-to-head trends this season, we’re taking the Pelicans to win and cover the spread.

Sacramento Kings vs New Orleans Pelicans Over 237.5 (-110)

The Kings have a 40-36-2 over/under record, while the Pelicans are a 37-41 over/under.

Sacramento has faced total points lines of 237 or high in six of the last ten games, going 4-2 over/under, while New Orleans hasn’t faced a total points line over 235 total points.

However, the under is 3-1-1 in the last five meetings in New Orleans and 5-2-1 in the last eight overall.

Both of the two previous meetings this season have easily eclipsed the over.
