We created a multi-game parlay from a narrow selection of games and followed some betting trends to our demise.

The Golden State Warriors won on the road and defeated the Houston Rockets by 13 ad covering the spread, while the Philadelphia 76ers and Chicago Bulls went to double overtime and still couldn’t but the over of 224.5.

However, as expected, the Los Angeles Kings crushed the Calgary Flames.

With yesterday’s loss, our parlay record drops to 0-2 for the week, while we are 2-4 on individual picks.

Today, we have more options to choose from and have chosen this very even same-game parlay:

Toronto Maple Leafs over New York Islanders (-125)

Both teams have won three of the last five games and have 6-4 records in the last ten. These two teams have split the season series, with Toronto winning the most recent game.

However, the Maple Leafs are 5-1 in the last six meetings, while the favorite is 17-4 in the last 21. Toronto is 5-1 in the last six against the Eastern Conference.

This game is very even, but we’re siding with the Maple Leafs, even though they could be without number one goalie Ilya Samsonov tonight.

Toronto Maple Leafs -1.5 over New York Islanders (+175)

The Maple Leafs covered the spread in the second matchup this season and have won by at least a 1.5-goal spread in three of their last six wins.

The Islanders won the first game in overtime and have lost two of their last four by at least 1.5 goals.

Again, there isn’t much to pick from here, and we are torn. However, the Leafs might suck, but we’re riding with them to cover the spread.

Toronto Maple Leafs vs New York Islanders Over 6.0 (-120)

These two teams scored five and seven total goals in the first two meetings.

The over is 4-1-1 in the Leafs’ last six games.

We expect this one to hit the over like the last meeting, with an empty net goal giving Toronto a 5-3 win.
