Top 3 Picks to Win the Masters 2021

Everyone’s asking: Who is going to win the Masters 2021?

You’ve come to the right place, because I have answers for you.

With the 85th edition of the Masters set to get underway on Thursday, April 8, now is a great time to offer up some expert golf picks.

Hint: I’m actually giving you one pick of the Top 3 ranked golfers in the world.

Some early favorites include Dustin Johnson who will be trying go back-to-back and win his second event at Augusta National Golf Club in 2021.

Other big contenders are Bryson DeChambeau with power that could put him in contention for a victory as one of this year’s top 2 favorite competitors.

Jon Rahm tries to finally bag his first major after knocking on the door of a championship over the past few years.

Dustin Johnson +800

Dustin Johnson is the favorite for a reason with futures putting him at +800.

Check out these scary stats:

  1. Ranks eighth in driving distance with 313.3 yards.
  2. 24th in greens-in-regulation.
  3. 10th in eagles.
  4. 34th in birdie average at 4.25.
  5. Third in scoring average with 69.6.

DJ heads into this week’s Texas Open fresh off a T28 finish at last week’s WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play event. Johnson also finished Top 2 in the 2019 Masters and Top 10 in 2018.

The two-time major winner also finished T4 in the 2016 Masters and T6 the year before.

Back-to-back Masters Championships are very rare, so I’d consider putting some units on the other hot contenders right now.

Not to mention the fact that Dustin John tool home $2,070,000 with his Masters 2020 victory. Go away now Dustin.

Bryson DeChambeau +900

Ranked a solid 5th in the Official Golf World Ranking (OGWR), the 27-year-old California native has some impressive stats as well:

  1. Ranks first in driving distance with 320.8.
  2. First in eagles per hole.
  3. Ranks seventh in birdie average at 4.67.
  4. First in scoring average with 69.4.

You might be saying why is this kid not the top pick? Because he chokes at Augusta, that’s why.

DeChambeau has not finished better than Top 29 in his last three appearances at Augusta including a Top 34 finish last year.

I’d stay away from this future, unless he has a massive break though, I’m looking DeChambeau to continue being intimidated by Augusta and The Masters.

Jon Rahm +1200

Jon Rahm has recorded three Top 10 finishes in his last four outings and comes into this year’s Masters fresh off a Top 5 finish in last week’s WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play event.

Impressively, Rahm has recorded three consecutive Top-10 finishes at the Masters by finishing fourth in 2018, Top 9 in 2019 and Top 7 a year ago.

With six Top-10 finishes in his last eight tournaments, the Spaniard looks like a player with a great chance to win his first major.

There’s value in the line at +1100 (I mean $100 to get a tidy $1100 is a nice win). Of all of these, Rahm is my favorite.

My Pick to Win the Masters 2021: John Rahm.
