Mesh Wifi systems seem to be gaining a fair amount of popularity these days, such as Google WiFi. Now Google is obviously not the only company to create Mesh Wifi systems and if you’re looking for alternatives, you might be interested to learn that ASUS has recently announced the Lyra Trio.
The concept of the Lyra Trio works pretty much the same way as most mesh systems. It works to form a mesh of WiFi around your home so that every inch will be covered in WiFi which means that there will not be any dead spots (we suppose this depends on how you arrange it, but that’s the intention).
According to ASUS, “Lyra Trio is a mesh WiFi system that uses multiple wirelessly connected hubs to deliver a superfast, secure signal to every corner of your home. It is designed to deliver a reliable, smooth signal whether you’re in the basement, the garden or the living room. The multiple hubs of Lyra Trio work together to form a single network with one WiFi name. Once you’re on the network, Lyra Trio automatically connects you to the hub with the best signal and seamlessly switches hubs as you move around your home.”
