Fast & Furious Franchise Races Onto Netflix As Animated Series

However it seems that the series will be a spin-off of the original franchise, where the focus will not be on Vin Diesel’s character, Dominic Toretto. The description reads, “Teenager Tony Toretto follows in the footsteps of his cousin Dom when he and his friends are recruited by a government agency to infiltrate an elite racing league serving as a front for a nefarious crime organization bent on world domination.”

No word on who will be doing the voice acting, but the series will feature Tim Hedrick and Bret Haaland as executive producers and showrunners, and it will also be executive produced by Vin Diesel, Neal Moritz and Chris Morgan who are also the producers of the Fast & Furious franchise. There is no mention of when this new animated series will be launched, but if you’re a fan of the live-action movies perhaps this could be worth looking forward to.
