As some of you might have heard, Nokia is planning on selling off its Health Division. It is unclear as to who might be the one to pick it up, but last we heard Google (and subsequently Nest) was looking to acquire them. However according to the latest rumors, Samsung could also be interested.
This is according to a report from French publication Le Monde (via MobileSyrup) who claims that Samsung is apparently the fourth company to express their interest in Nokia’s health Division. At the moment there four companies that apparently are interested in Nokia’s health division, some of whom are from Europe.
However as per the previous report, it was suggested that the French government would much prefer it if a local company were to acquire the division which was formerly Withings, a French company. It has also been reported that whoever acquires Nokia’s health division will pay less than €170 million, which is what Nokia paid for Withings when they bought them last year.
