This Is What Facebook’s Unsend Message Feature Looks Like

When it was discovered that Facebook had been rescinding messages sent by Mark Zuckerberg to some users, there was a bit of an uproar considering that Facebook currently does not have an “unsend” feature. However Facebook quickly responded by saying that they were working on one.

Now thanks to the folks at TNW, they have shared a screenshot of what appears to be Facebook’s unsend feature. Basically when users choose to unsend a message, they will get the notification that you see in the image above. It asks users whether or not they are sure they want to unsend it as it cannot be undone.

We suppose this feature shouldn’t really come as a surprise. After all unsending messages seems to be a more common feature these days and it wasn’t too long ago that Facebook-owned WhatsApp also introduced a similar feature to its platform, so for it to arrive on Facebook was really only a matter of time.

There is no word on when Facebook plans on rolling out the feature to users, but if this screenshot is anything to go by, it seems that it is still in the works but we could be close to seeing it made ready for the public, hopefully in the not-so-distant future.
