It is expected that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipsets. In fact some reports have even suggested that Samsung could be getting first dibs on the chipset, but regardless it wouldn’t be surprising for flagship phones to use Qualcomm’s flagship chipset.
That being said, a recent tweet by Ice Universe has revealed that the Galaxy S9 might have been spotted on Geekbench where the version being tested is running on the Snapdragon 845. The scores show that in terms of single-core performance, the phone managed to score 2,378, while multi-core performance saw a score of 8,132.
Snapdragon 845, mediocre results, only expect Exynos 9810 to our surprise, this will be Samsung S9 biggest bright spot. pic.twitter.com/aJVbBxQkNG

It has been pointed out by PhoneArena that back in December last year, the Galaxy S9+ was allegedly spotted on Geekbench as well with slightly higher scores of 2,422 and 8,351 respectively. It is unclear why there is a discrepancy since both phones are supposed to be identical save for their screen sizes, so take it with a grain of salt for now.
