According to the rumors, this year could see Apple introduce three new iPhones, one of which will be a “cheaper” model with a 6.1-inch LCD display and missing 3D Touch, while the other two will be the 5.8-inch Iphone X, while the other is (tentatively) known as the iPhone X Plus with a rumored 6.5-inch display.
However in addition to the larger displays, a recent report from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo Claims that Apple will be bumping up the RAM in the new iPhone Xs. As it stands Apple bundles 3GB of RAM in their iPhones, but Kuo claims that Apple will be changing that and will be giving both the iPhones 4GB of RAM.
The addition of RAM could be a welcome one, especially when you check out speed tests of the iPhone X, where the phone struggles compared to some Android competitors when it comes to keeping apps open in the background. Kuo also claims that Apple will be bumping up the battery size of the larger iPhone X Plus to around 3,300-3,400mAh.
