Editing photos takes skill, such as being able to choose the right colors/tone that will make a Photo more interesting, as well as fixing things in the photo that you might have missed when taking the shot, like blown out highlights, areas that are too dark, and so on. However Adobe is hoping to make that easier, thanks to the use of AI.
Adobe has recently updated its Lightroom app where they are introducing AI to the photo editing software which will be powered by Adobe Sensei, the company’s neural network. What this means is that if you were to use the app’s Auto Settings, it can help to create “a better photo by analyzing your photo and comparing to tens of thousands of professionally edited photos to create a beautiful, pleasing image”.
Basically it will help you edit your photo based on what it thinks a properly edited photo should look like, based on the tens of thousands of photos it is comparing it to. Of course whether or not it will create a beautiful photo is a different story, simply because a lot of what makes a good photo is in the composition of the photo itself prior to the photo being taken.
