Hitman: Absolution Coming To Xbox One

Hitman: Absolution was initially released for Xbox 360 back in 2012. It’s not natively compatible with Xbox One so you can’t just pop the disc in and play this game on the new console. However, fans of the franchise will be delighted to find out that IO Interactive has confirmed that Hitman: Absolution is coming to Xbox One via the backwards compatibility feature that was switched on for the console last year. The feature allows studios to bring their Xbox 360 games to Xbox One.

Hitman: Absolution follows Agent 47 as he takes his most dangerous contract ever. He’s betrayed by the people he once trusted and the police are hunting him down. Yet he’s at the center of a dark conspiracy that takes him through a dark and twisted world.

It’s a game worth playing and Xbox One owners will be glad to see that Hitman: Absolution is coming over to their console. An estimated release date has not yet been provided though so there might be a bit of wait involved here.

Hitman fans have a lot to look forward to actually. The beta for the new Hitman game is already live for PlayStation 4 owners who pre-ordered the title and it will be released for PC on February 19th. The new Hitman will  be released for PS4, Xbox One and PC on March 11th, 2016.
