While it has yet to be confirmed, a popular rumor and consensus has suggested that Apple’s next iPhone will have wireless charging. We’ve heard this rumor repeated countless times from various analysts and also based on evidence like Apple joining the Wireless Power Consortium.
Now it seems that investment firm JPMorgan has also thrown their hat into the ring in their latest investors note in which they stated that the next iPhone will indeed come with the feature. The company stated that they believe that Broadcom will be the company to supply the components needed for the feature.
However what they did not state was which iPhone model would get the feature, or which wireless charging standard Apple will be adhering to. That being said, a report from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had previously stated that the feature will be standard across all iPhone models, like the iPhone 7s, 7s Plus, and the 8.
