T-Mobile Trolls AT&T By Offering Switchers A Year’s Worth Of Free DirecTV Now

t-mobile logo

Starting tomorrow, T-Mobile is going to give AT&T customers who switch to its network and opt for T-Mobile One a free year of DirecTV Now which is a $420 value. It says this offer is for AT&T customers who “feel trapped” on their existing network or those who just want to experience the TV streaming service “on a faster, more advanced LTE network.”

To take advantage of this offer, AT&T customers have to activate two lines and bring their number to T-Mobile One. They will receive a $35 monthly bill credit from T-Mobile for 12 months, that’s how much DirecTV Now costs per month, as long as their lines remain active on T-Mobile.

T-Mobile also announced that it has added DirecTV Now to Binge On which caps streaming resolution to DVD or better quality and doesn’t count data used for streaming content from supported services against the monthly allotment.
