It is widely believed that Apple will be launching a brand new Iphone in 2017 will feature a redesigned body. However according to a report out of Macotakara in Japan, apparently that will not be the case. Instead we will apparently be treated to the iPhone 7s and 7s Plus, a phone that will maintain the design of this year’s model.
This is according to their supplier source in Taiwan who claims that we won’t be getting that huge redesign we’ve been hearing about. Instead the iPhone 7s and 7s Plus will keep the existing design, and the only major exterior design change will be that it will come in a Red Finish option.
If anything the upgrades are expected to be under the hood with the new A11 chipset. There is also no word on the wireless charging feature or glass chassis. Call us skeptical but for Apple to keep pushing the same old design for 4 years in a row would really be testing the patience of their customers, some of whom we can only imagine are holding out for 2017’s redesigned model.
