Last we heard, within a week iOS 10 has managed to be Installed on nearly a third of Ios Devices. So now that we’re about 2 weeks since iOS 10 was released to the masses, how is Apple’s latest platform faring? Turns out it is doing surprisingly well, or at least that’s based on Mixpanel’s iOS 10 adoption tracker (via MacRumors).
As you can see in the chart above, iOS 10 is now installed on nearly half of iOS devices. To be more specific, the number shows 48.16%, which in turn also beats out iOS 9 which has since dropped to 47.79%. We guess this is to be expected, although it also represents nearly half of iOS users who have yet to update.
It is possible that some users aren’t updating simply because their devices can’t support the platform. It is also possible that some users are waiting for any bugs to be cleared up and for the platform to become more stable before update. Another possibility is that maybe some users don’t even know that there is an update waiting for them.
