The Apple Magsafe Duo Charger will conveniently charge your iPhone, Apple Watch, Wireless Charging Case for AirPods, and other Qi-certified devices completely wirelessly simply by placing the device on the charger.

The MagSafe Duo Charger was initially announced back in October at the same time as the new lineup of iPhone 12 devices were revealed. However, while pricing was set, a release date has not been officially announced.

According to a large Apple retailer the new charging accessory will be available as early as Dec 21st, making it a perfect last minute Christmas gift for any Apple product lover.

From Apple, “MagSafe is a new ecosystem of accessories for easy attachment and faster wireless charging. With endless combinations, there is a mix to match any style.”

It’s incredibly easy to use, charging starts instantly upon placing your compatible device on the charging pad, and gives users the ability to charge their iPhone and Apple Watch or other similar accessory simultaneously.

One drawback is that the MagSafe Duo Charger does not come with the necessary power adapter, however users should already have 1 or more of these that came with their Apple device that they intend to charge. If not, they can purchase a new adapter separately from Apple with options for a 20w and 27w fast charging adapter.

If the rumors of the release date are true, we see this becoming a big seller this holiday season.
