It’s not even a week that Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi Redmi Pro in China. Today, a new leak suggest that Xiaomi Redmi Pro Mini is on its way, obviously with lower-specs than its elder brother Redmi Pro. The Redmi Pro Mini will come with slight difference than its big brother.
Thanks to Chinese leaker Kjuma, who has posted sketch and specs of Xiaomi Redmi Pro Mini on a Chinese website called Weibo. According to the leaks, the Redmi Pro Mini will feature 5.2-inch display while the Xiaomi Redmi Pro features 5.5-inch display. But the Redmi Pro Mini will feature the same 1080p OLED display.
The latest Redmi Pro is powered by deca-core MediaTek Helio X25 whereas the Redmi Pro Mini is expected to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652. Even-though they are powered by different processors, they both offer same 3GB RAM/32GB storage and 4GB RAM/64GB storage options.
The major difference between the phones is dual camera feature. The Redmi Pro Mini will have only one camera at the rear, while the Redmi Pro has dual camera setup at the rear side. The Xiaomi Redmi Pro Mini also features a fingerprint sensor on the physical home button. The Redmi Pro Mini will have 4000mAh battery pack.
The leaked specs-sheet does not give any information about the camera of Redmi Pro Mini.
Xiaomi Redmi Pro Mini price starts from CNY 1,499 (Rs. 15,050 / $225) and goes upto CNY 1,899 (Rs. 19,070 / $285) for the high-end model. If the leaks turn real, we will hear more about it and keep you updated. Stay tuned for more updates!
