Xiaomi is a privately owned company that designs, develops, and sells smartphones, an Android-based OS, and other consumer electronics. Today, Xiaomi launched Xiaomi MI Note 2 in Beijing, China. This smartphone looks somewhat similar to Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

MI Note 2 comes up with a 5.7 inch touchscreen OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and has 3D curved glass on both sides known as “two sided-dual curve”.
The display has a 77.2 screen to body ratio, 110% NTSC colour gamut and also boasts of Sunlight Display pro and Read mode.
This phone is powered by 2.35GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. It will be running Anroid 6.0 Marshmallow.
MI Note 2 is backed by 4GB RAM + 64GB Storage for 2799 RMB (approx Rs 27,720), 6GB RAM + 128GB Storage for 3299 (approx Rs 32,558) and 6GB RAM + 128GB Global version for 3499 RMB (approx Rs 34,537).
There’s also a decent non-removable 4070 mAh battery along with quick charge 3.0. It will have full NFC functionality along with read, write, emulation and P2P bank card payments.

MI Note 2 comes with 22.56 megapixel camera with dual-tone LED flash on the back. The camera supports to 4K resolution for video with EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) and a 8 megapixel front camera with autofocus. It also comes with Beauty 3.0 software.
This phone features HiFi sound quality, SAP high-precison GPS, offers global LTE support across 6 network types and a total of 37 bands.
MI Note 2 is a dual sim (GSM and GSM) phone along with Wifi, Bluetooth, NFC, microUSB Type – C. Sensors include Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer and Gyroscope. It supports Qualcomm’s new Ultrasonic fingerprint sensing technology.
Xiaomi MI Note 2 comes in Piano Black and Glacier Silver colour option. Xiaomi has not confirmed when the Mi Note 2 will be coming to India.
