One Platinum is Netone’s take at contract plans. The package offers Voice, Data and SMS in one package. Voice includes local and international minutes. Oneplatinum is targeted at business, with the minimum number of applicants set at 5. For individuals, Netone offers OneFusion, which is prepaid.
OnePlatinum is classified as OnePlatinum Heavy, Medium and Light. There is a total of 13 options across these categories. The pricing starts at $10 for the lightest package. The heaviest package costs $300. As they put it, the packages should cater for SMEs as well as large corporations with high demands. The pricing does reflect that.
The voice offering for OnePlatinum is split into 4 categories: Within OnePlatinum, to Netone, Across all networks and International calls. The lighter packages do not include international calling minutes, which start at the $80 offering. The package does offer more value to the customer than using the airtime separately. The text offering is a bit low. But who texts these days anyway. Offering minutes that call within OnePlatinum is something good. This works somewhat like a local phone, back in the days of the landline. Even the lowest package offers 300 of these minutes.
Data offering is a bit on the low side, something reflected even in the OneFusion bundles. The $10 bundles offers a paltry 30MB 0f data. Even the heaviest package, setting you back $300, offers 1680MB. This certainly could be improved. Or maybe this is not a concern in the enterprise market as there is WiFi to fill in. The market is moving towards a heavier usage of data, and cloud is the way forward. Head us NetOne.
The image below is a table containing the different one platinum packages that are on offer. You can check out the different amount of Data, SMS and voice offered on each tier.
With the recent changes that have been coming from NetOne, we still wait to see what’s up next. From cheapest data through 48 hour bundles. Radical changes to the popular Dollar A Day. We hope the network continues to offer more value to the customer.
