WWDC is kicking off – here’s how to watch Apple’s product announcements live

Apple’s week-long WorldWide Developer’s Conference (WWDC) kicks off today, and as is tradition it will start with a big keynote speech full of software Announcements. This year, we’re expecting some hardware announcements too. It’s the second biggest Apple event of the year behind its customary iPhone launch in September.

There’s no doubt that iOS 11 will be announced today, but beyond that there could be several product announcements, covering iPads, Macbooks, and maybe even a brand new Siri-powered home speaker. Of course, we’ll update you later with the cold hard facts, but in the meantime it might be worth checking out our expectations for the event. It looks like it’s going to be an exciting one this year.

How to watch

Apple is live-streaming the event around the world at 10am PDT. (That’s 1pm on the east coast and 6pm in the UK.) The keynotes usually last a couple of hours, and you can watch this one live on the WWDC website. It’ll work on an iPhone, iPad or Apple TV, while the stream is also compatible with the Safari browser on Mac, or Microsoft Edge if you’re using a Windows computer.

If sitting through two hours of tech chat isn’t your thing, don’t worry – we’ll update you later today with all the key announcements, and will delve further into the big stories over the next day or two. You won’t miss a thing.
