This is to inform the general public that FUTO Post Utme Screening 2016/2017 has commenced. The Federal University of Technology, Owerri has announced the screening eligibility and date for its 2016/2017 session Post-UTME screening exercise.

In a notice signed by the Registrar, Orje Isheghnor, only students who picked the Federal University of Technology Owerri as their first choice of institution in the 2016 University Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and have a JAMB score of 180 and above are eligible for the FUTO Post UTME Screening 2016/2017 exercise.

He went further to state that the online registration would commence on the Friday, 29^th of July and end on Friday, 12^th of August, 2016. A processing fee of N2,500 only would be required from eligible candidates for the FUTO Post UTME Screening 2016/2017 and any candidate who fails to register between the above mentioned dates would not be considered for the screening exercise.

Here’s an excerpt of the notice that was pasted by the Office of the Registrar, Federal University of Technology, Owerri as regards the FUTO Post UTME Screening 2016/2017:

This announcement is for the benefit of all candidates who have chosen the Federal University Of Technology, Owerri as their first choice institution in the 2016 University Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored 180 and above.

The following will apply:

1. Eligible candidates will be required to pay a processing fee Of Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira Only (N2,500), bank charges inclusive
2. Online registration commences Friday, 29^th of July, 2016 and ends on Friday, 12^th August, 2016. Those who fail to register within the period WILL NOT be screened. To register, follow the steps outlined below:
3. Visit the University website futo.edu.ng
4. Click on Prospective students
5. Click on ‘Click To Apply’ under 2016/17 Admission Screening Application
6. Enter your jamb registration number
7. Select your payment mode (Generate Remitta Retrieval Reference Number to pay at any bank or simply pay with your bank ATM card)
8. Return to the application page and enter your JAMB registration number again
9. Proceed with the completion of the form
10. Correctly enter your O-Level results
11. Upload CLEAR COPIES of all necessary credentials
12. Confirm your entries
13. Submit your application
14. Print out your acknowledgement letter
15. Await further announcement from the university.

NOTE:

1. You must enter a valid mobile number and e-mail address for future communications.
2. Any candidate who fails to successfully submit his screening application online will automatically lose his/her chance of being considered for admission
