Headies 2016 Nominees – The Headies (formerly known as the Hip Hop World Awards) are an accolade established in 2006 by the Hip Hop World Magazine of Nigeria to recognize outstanding achievement in the Nigerian music industry. The annual ceremony features performances by established and promising artists.

The highly-anticipated list of Nominees of The Headies 2016 has been released.

The list of nominees comprises of 21 categories which covers different genre of Nigerian music culture.

You can still recall the events of last year, when Olamide flipped the script after Reekado Banks was announced as the next rated. The later events that went down kept the Month of January 2016 fun as the twitfight between YBNL and Mavin raged.

News has it that the beef was settled by Nigerian Billionaire, Aliko Dangote and both groups have been doing club banging songs ever since.

We can only wonder what drama the Headies 2016 would bring to us.
