Samsung joins the All-in-One PC market

Samsung showed that it is apparently getting into the All-in-One PC market. At CES 2017 they showed a Windows 10-powered all-in-one PC with a rather unique design. It has an integrated soundbar that also acts as its base with a tiltable screen on top.

This PC has a 24-inch 1080p touchscreen that can be tilted and is also height-adjustable. In the soundbar/base part it has a 2.4GHz Intel Core i5-7400T processor, paired with 8GB or 16GB RAM. For storage, it has a 1TB 5400RPM hard disk which Samsung claims that it can be easily upgraded as well as the RAM.

The soundbar houses two 10W speakers which give a pretty decent sound. You also get a full-sized wireless keyboard (with curved buttons) and a wireless mouse. At the top of the screen there is a front-facing camera with depth sense. This is used for facial recognition through Windows Hello. All ports are located on the back making it good at hiding cables. Oh, and there is even a SD card slot.

Samsung is also combining SideSync and other software that increases compatibility and offers sync options with Galaxy smartphones and tablets. You can even use the soundbar to play music through Bluetooth from your phone even when the PC is turned off.

Pricing and availability are still not mentioned, so we will have to wait a little longer for that info.
