OnePlus has launched the company’s latest flagship smartphone – Oneplus 6T in India at a starting price tag of Rs. 37,999. The OnePlus 6T comes in two colours – Mirror Black and Midnight Black and it is available on Amazon.in as well as oneplus.in starting from Novemeber 1st midnight while it will go on open sale starting from 3rd and it will be available on Amazon, OnePlus.in, OnePlus stores, Reliance Digital and Croma stores offline. Originally, it was unveiled in New York a day before and it is the successor of OnePlus 6 that was launched back in May 2018.

On the specifications front, OnePlus 6T features 6.41-inch Optic AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and there is a tiny notch that houses three-in-one ambient/distance/RGB sensor and front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling. The smartphone has 86% screen-to-body ratio and the the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6. The Mirror Black variant the smartphone features Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection on the back while on the Midnight Black variant the smartphone features matte finish. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor which is paired with Adreno 630 GPU and 6GB or 8GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 9.0 Pie with OxygenOS on top of it and support Android’s full screen gestures. The OnePlus 6T has has 128GB/256GB internal storage.

On the camera side, the OnePlus 6T features dual camera setup on the back – 16-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX519 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, OIS, EIS and 20-megapixel secondary camera with Sony IMX376K sensor, f/1.7 aperture. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel Sony IMX 371 sensor for selfie & video-calling. The OnePlus 6T comes with Nightscape mode that can recognize night scenes and delivers brighter, more vivid images with more clarity and less noise. The update will be rolling out for OnePlus 6 via software update soon.

The OnePlus 6T has in-display fingerprint sensor which the company calls it “Screen Unlock” and it can also be used to quick launch apps using the customizable app shortcut bar. According to company, the in-display fingerprint sensor can unlock the phone in 0.34 seconds. The smartphone also has face unlock and it will unlock the phone in 0.4 seconds. The smartphone also comes with support for Smart Boost technology that improves app start speeds to 5 to 20% by storing data from frequently used apps in the phone’s RAM. The OnePlus 6T doesn’t have a 3.5mm audio jack and you have to reply on the bundled USB Type-C to 3.5mm adapter, USB Type-C earphones or Bluetooth headphones.

The OnePlus 6T packs 3,700 mAh battery with OnePlus’ Dash Charge (5V 4A) fast charging.
