The Invicta 5511 is one of the most popular watches from the sub Aqua Noma Iii range, and it’s not hard to understand why. The watch features a large circular case that is 50mm in diameter, composed entirely of surgical grade steel. On top of the case sits a stainless steel unidirectional bezel that matches the same color as the case. The bezel is brushed in satin and features embossed arabic numerals at every five-second intervals.
The watch features a large sunray Dial with silver indexes coated with luminiscent trinite, the indexes are positioned at all hours apart from 2, 4, 10 and 12. The luminescence and large dial ensures that the watch can easily be read in pitch blackness. The words “swiss made” is written at the 6 o’clock, “swiss made” means that this watch is guaranteed to have been assembled in switzerland entirely from swiss parts. A date window can be observed at 4 o clock.
There are three sub-dials that rest at 2.00, 6.00, and 10.00, the subdials can be used in conjuction with the screwed down crown to effectively measure time to a fraction of a second. The dial window is made from flame fusion crystal, which is exceptionally resistant too scratches and shock, and by far superior to mineral crystal used on other watches. The watch has 500m water resistance (1650 ft) meaning it is definitely worthy of being called a true professional divers timepiece and is suited to the most extreme of submarine divers.
The watch uses the Swiss Quartz “Ronda 5040.D Quartz Chronograph movement” which is renowned for it’s superior accuracy. The watch band is made from black polyurethane that is interchangable with other bands sold by Invicta. The buckle has a clasp ensuring the watch stays on when diving, the clasp is made from stainless steel and has the invicta logo etched onto the clasp. The Invicta 5511 sub aqua noma iii makes for an excellent divers watch and is also suitable to be worn in the office as well thanks too it’s smart appearence.
