Rumour has it that Apple’s getting ready to unveil a number of new products somewhere between the 20th and the 24th of March. Honestly—we’d be lying if we said we weren’t at least a little bit excited about this piece of info. The news comes from MacRumors, but the original source (“reputable supply chain analysts”) remains unknown. So, what can we expect to see at the upcoming event? There’s actually talk about a new iPad Pro, updated Apple Watch bands, and a—red iPhone?
The iPhone’s Going Red and the iPhone SE Getting More Storage
As you probably know, the latest Apple smartphones—the Iphone 7 and 7 Plus—come in five colour options. These include Jet Black, Black, Silver, Gold, and Rose Gold, but according to rumours, a new shade is in the works. That’s right, it looks like the Cupertino giant is planning to release a Red iPhone, which would definitely appeal to a number of users worldwide. Naturally, this information is nothing but speculation at the moment, but it sure is an interesting idea.
What about the rest of Apple’s line-up? Well, the iPhone SE is scheduled for a storage upgrade (128GB) seeing that it’s available only with 16 and 64 gigabytes. For those of us who love smaller smartphones, but need more built-in memory, this is the perfect option. We’re putting our hopes into this rumour turning out to be true!
The iPad Pro will, too, get a successor: a bezel-free 10.5-inch model which might not have a Home button. The tablet is also rumoured to have quad microphones and a display with a higher resolution. The existing 12.9-inch and 9.7-inch versions won’t be left behind and will get updates, as well. Last, but not least, are brand new Apple Watch bands, but we’re yet to find out anything about them.
Remember that this is nothing but speculation at the moment, seeing that Apple didn’t even announce its March event, but if the company’s to reveal all these models next week, we’re sure invites are going to appear soon enough.
