Ever since WhatsApp became the top messaging app, I had almost given up on iMessaging. I would hardly use it to communicate with my friends. But, that is the thing of the past as a lot has changed with iOS 10.
“Messages” has got a fantastic lease of life in iOS 10. With several exclusive features like Digital Touch, Markup, Emoji recommendations, it has become at par with any top-notch messaging app. And if I’m not exaggerating much, it has even surpassed the best when it comes to having superb features.
Bubble and screen effects bowled me over from the first glance itself. They allow you to send iMessages with animated effects to add a variety of colors to your different emotions.
Unfortunately, some iOS 10 users are unable to send iMessage using Bubble Effects. If it is the case with you as well, here is how you can fix it.
Can’t Send iMessage with Bubble Effects in iOS 10 on iPhone/iPad? Here is Quick Fix
Solution 1: Disable Reduce Motion
Make sure to Disable Reduce Motion on your device. When it’s turned on, the motion of the user interface including the parallax effect of app icons is reduced. Hence, Bubble Effect doesn’t work at its best when it’s enabled.
Step #1. Launch Settings app on your iOS device → Tap on General.
Step #2. Next, tap on Accessibility.
Step #3. Tap on Reduce Motion.
Step #4. Toggle off the switch.
Step #5. Finally, reboot your device by holding the on/off button and Home button at once.
Once your iPhone has rebooted, try to send the iMessage with bubble effects. It should work.
Solution 2: Reset All Settings
If the first trick hasn’t clicked for you, then try to reset your device. It can let you resolve the problem. It will reset all the settings on your iOS device. But, it won’t delete any media or data.
Step #1. Open Settings app → Tap on General.
Step #2. Scroll down and tap on Reset → Tap on Reset All Settings.
Step #3. If you have enabled the passcode, you need to enter it → Tap on Reset All Settings again to confirm.
Now, try to use Bubble Effects again. Most probably, it should start working as usual.
