OnePlus Teases March 8 Announcement; Could be OnePlus 9 Series
OnePlus has just released a teaser for a March 8 announcement. This is expected to be the OnePlus 9 series launch.
The teaser simply says “Something new is on the the horizon. Stay tuned, March 8” with a space-view of Earth. In addition the site is titled Moonshot.
There has been quite a lot of leaks in relation to the three OnePlus 9 series devices. The OnePlus 9E/Lite is said to come with a 6.5-inch FHD+ panel with a 90Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 690 chipset, and a 64MP main camera.
The OnePlus 9, on the other hand, is said to have a 120Hz refresh rate and be powered by the Snapdragon 888. It is also expected to have a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP primary snapper.
Lastly, the 9 Pro is expected to be the biggest of the three with a 6.78-inch QHD+ LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also said to have Snapdragon 888 at the helm and draw power from a 4500mAh battery with 65W wired charging and 45W wireless charging support. In the camera department, it will reportedly have a wide, ultrawide, marco, and depth sensor with a 48MP main along with a 16MP front camera.
The company is working with Hasselblad for the cameras of the 9 Pro which has raised expectations as far as the photography prowess of the new Pro flagship goes.
Luckily, we won’t have to wait too long for the official announcement from the company.
