Microsoft to Buy Yammer

Microsoft says it wants to buy social networking yammer with a value of 1.2 billion dollars. Yammer business social networking site has been used by more than 200 thousand companies mostly based in the U.S., such as Ford Motor and EBay.
"The acquisition of private business social network that will help Microsoft to reach out to corporate customers," said The Washington Post.

Deal with Yammer also predicted to increase competition with Windows software manufacturer Salesforce.com and Oracle Corporation.
