Kirin 980 - Performance and Power Consumption

According to Huawei, 7nm manufacturing can deliver better performance by up to 75% in applications that use the CPU with a reduced power consumption of 58% over the previous generation . Also, the new Mali-G76 GPU could improve performance in 3D applications by 46% with a reduced power consumption of 178% compared to the Mali-G72 MP12 last year. Last but not least, this is the first mobile chip with support for LPDDR4X RAM at 2,133 MHz.

Kirin 980 - release date
