Smartphone makers are accustomed to boast their cameras more than likely should. This is often seen in posts on the social media accounts of brands where we see photos taken with phones, which may or may not be true. Often, photographs are real, but from time to time, users are able to catch "fraud" attempts when photos are made with more performing equipment.
Twitter Twitter Samsung has twice published buy-in photos from Getty Images and portrayed them as captured images using the Galaxy A8 front-facing camera with a blur effect in the background. Those who tracked the account were quick to spot the images and alerted the account managers, and they were deleted soon after.
The pictures were not only made with a phone Samsung, however, were simply bought from the internet, something Samsung has predicted in a predictable way. The official statement said that not all images bearing the Samsung logo are made with the company's phones, some of which are used to inspire a certain mood that can be associated with its brand
companies such as Huawei and Nokia have suffered similar things by publishing photographs or commercials claiming that the materials were made using their phones
