A little while ago, Meizu launched its flagship Meizu 16s. Now, the company is all geared up to launch a new device dubbed the Meizu 17. The Meizu 17 is allegedly going to make its way to the market way sooner than expected.
As per the latest report, the Meizu 17 will be the company’s first smartphone to have 5G capability.

Furthermore, we have also received a couple of hands-on images of the alleged device via Weibo which showcase a button-less design.
Though the specifications are not confirmed as of now, the rumor mill suggests a 6-inch Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 855 SoC, 8GB RAM, 256GB of internal storage, an under-display fingerprint scanner, and a triple rear camera setup.
As of now, this is all we know about the device, but we are sure to receive further intel on the same in the coming days.

Starting things off with the display, the Meizu 16s sports a 6.2-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display. There is an under-display fingerprint scanner at the front. The display, as per the company, manages to filter out 33% of harmful blue light and also supports DC dimming for reduced eye strain. The device is available in 3 color variants – Carbon Black, Pearl White, and Phantom Blue.
Speaking of the cameras, the Meizu 16s features a 20MP selfie snapper with HDR+ support. At the back, we get a dual rear camera (48MP f/1.7 + 20MP f/2.6 wide-angle shooter) with support for a “super night view”.
Under the hood, the Meizu 16s is powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset which is coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage with scope for further expansion with the help of an external SD card.
At the battery front, we get a 3,600mAh battery with 24W mCharger support.
Moving on to the OS, the Meizu 16s runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box with Flyme 7.3 on top of it.
Gaming will be an absolute delight with the Meizu 16s as the device supports a Hyper Gaming mode and an mEngine 3.0 vibration motor for an ultra-immersive experience.
