Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL: The lineup passes the FCC certification

Google is reportedly going to launch the Google Pixel 3 and the Google Pixel 3 XL on October 9. We received a couple of live shots and screenshots of the Google Pixel 3 which has revealed a lot about the smaller device in the lineup.

Now, both the devices have passed the FCC certification. Though most of the documents were filed in the month of July and even June, they were not revealed because of the confidentiality period for the technical reports which ended on August 31.

Both the devices are submitted to the FCC by Google itself which further solidifies the fact that they are going to be designed in-house by the company unlike the previous generations of the Pixel devices which were designed by HTC and LG.

The model numbers in the certification are A4RG013A for the Google Pixel 3 and A4RG013C for the Google Pixel 3 XL. Note that the Google Pixel 2 had the model number G011A and the Google Pixel 2 XL had the model number G011C.

As mentioned earlier, the Google Pixel 3 has already started popping up on the internet courtesy of a new tipster.

Finally, we have started receiving reports about the device as a bunch of live shots of the device have started popping up on the internet.

As per the image, the Google Pixel 3 will have a considerable amount of bezels at the top and at the bottom unlike the notched display the Google Pixel 3 XL is going to feature. Aesthetically, the design looks more pleasing to the eye when compared with the wide notched design. The device will have front-facing stereo speakers.

Talking about the display, we are going to get a beautiful 5.5-inch 1080p (2160×1080 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio.
