Android games have been an integral part of the Android ecosystem ever since its inception. The world of Gaming has recently seen a lot of dedicated smartphones and this is constantly becoming the new trend in the world of Android.
It all started with the Razer phone and took no time for the other companies to follow suit. Xiaomi has released its own Black Shark gaming smartphone and ZTE introduced the Nubia Red Magic gaming smartphone a couple of weeks after that.

Now, Asus seems to be following the same trend with its own gaming smartphone. Asus is known for being one of the most important tech giants in the PC gaming sector and is now going to try its hands on the world of Android gaming.
The rumored device is tipped to fall in the new ROG (Republic of Gamers) series of smartphones which the company is working on.
According to the source, the first gaming phone by Asus is going to be launched in the month of June at Computex 2018. Sadly enough, the source did not reveal any of the specifications of the device, but it is safe to assume that the Asus ROG gaming smartphone will feature top-notch specifications.
For starters, we can expect the device to be running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage. The display will also presumably have a high refresh rate (could be ~120GHz). The chances of the device running on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo are highly likely. There will be a dedicated cooling system as well as a dedicated gaming hardware key, something we have seen with almost all the gaming smartphones released lately.
