Yes, Xiaomi is all set to create history again by launching the new Redmi 8A in India first. As per the post on twitter, the new Redmi 8A is scheduled to land in India on Sept 25. Further, the post also shows the front view of the new Redmi 8A which features new waterdrop display this time.

The new Redmi 8A will be powered by SD439 SoC coupled with 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB/32GB internal storage. The Redmi 8A will arrive with 12MP single rear camera and 8MP selfie shooter. Further, the device will pack a larger 5000 mAh battery with 10W charging and will run on Android 9 Pie out of the box. Redmi 8A will be priced similar to Redmi 7A at Rs.5999/-.
