Earlier Qualcomm launched the new SD675 SoC which was more advanced chipset than the new SD710 SoC. Now we have few rumors claiming that Qualcomm is now testing the new chipset basically made for Android Go devices.
After capturing the flagship and mid-range segment now Qualcomm is planning to invade the budget segment smartphones with its new chipset for Android God devices. As per the source, the new Qualcomm chipset is named as QM215 which might not be part of the Snapdragon platform. It might be just called a Qualcomm Mobile 215 platform.
Further, the new QM215 SoC will have the same features as the SD425 & SD410 SoC as it will stick to the Quad-core processor. The new QM215 SoC is clocked at 1.3 GHz Quad-core processor along with 650MHz GPU. The new QM215 SoC might be built on the 28nm process. Currently, Qualcomm is already testing out a few devices coupled with 1GB/2GB RAM and 8GB/16GB internal storage.
