Earlier we had got series of patent leaks of the alleged foldable smartphone from Samsung which was rumoured to be called the Samsung Galaxy X.Now Oppo has recently filed some new patents for the single display foldable smartphone which can be folded into half and then unfold it becomes a single screen smartphone.
The Oppo alleged foldable smartphone comes with an outward hinge which acts as part of the screen when unfolded. As per the diagrams, there is Dual camera setup at the back when unfolded and once closed one part of the screen can be used for calling whereas the other part of the screen will act as selfie camera with LED flash to take pictures.
Sadly, the device is having thick top and bottom bezels and probably might be using the traditional 16:9 aspect ratio display. We are still not sure when will be the new foldable smartphone from Oppo will be l officially launched.
