Samsung is on roll with back to back Patent application been filed in recent days. Earlier we had got some patents leaked which show us the foldable display tech and now we have the new Rollable display with fingerprint scanner patent being filed by Samsung.

Samsung’s new patent uses the magnet that is placed on the main body which also holds the rollable display.This is not the first rollable display patent earlier LG had also filed a patent for rollable display but that works on rotating motor.

The patent shows us the two type of metallic bodies one with square shaped and another cylindrical shape both of then are having fingerprint sensors button which will roll out and roll in the display.

As of now, we are not sure whether the new patent of the rollable display will be used as a smartphone or a tablet.But for this technology to develop we need a lot of time and will not be made commercially available anytime soon.
