OnePlus 5 is now Receiving the Oxygen OS OTA update with firmware version Oxygen OS 4.5.15. Earlier Oneplus 5T got the Oxygen OS OTA update with Oxygen 4.7.4 which fixes some of the camera app UI issues.
OnePlus 5 is still behind when compared to OnePlus 5T as with this latest update it brings the security patch of the Oct month and we are now in Dec and might fix some of the security issues on the OnePlus 5.
The latest OTA update improves the GPS performance and general bugs fixes.OnePlus has fixed the issue od unable to set the custom alarm tone and also fixed the sharing of emoji from Bitmoji.The OTA update will reach devices soon as it is an incremental update and will start hitting some devices from today.This update does not improve the camera functionality which OnePlus 5T received last week.
