Apple’s M1 chips have taken the laptop world by storm and make the Macbook Pro and MacBook Air some of the most powerful laptops on the market.

But if you have used the MacBook Pro you will agree that the webcam doesn’t like up to the standards set by the previous models, right?

And considering video calls is the way to not just work but also meet and greet friends and family members in a world with covid-induced lockdowans, that’s was a bit of a bummer considering the laptops cost quite around $1000 or more.

But Apple looks to have addressed these concerns. While it cannot be fixed on the existing mode, the new MacBookPro being released in 2021 will have an all-new webcam.

Yes, time to move over the 720p webcam, the new laptop will have a Full-HD i.e. 1080p webcam as per the report on MacRumors. This configuration currently only exists on the iMac and will be extended to the MacBook Pro as well.

And yes, that includes all versions i.e the 14-inches and 16-inch screens. Oh, and did you know the chip will be bigger and badder this year? Yes, the M1X chips is supposed to be one of the fastest on the market with incredible battery life.

Wondering when can you get your hands on it? Well, rumors suggest the new MacBook Pro and Air models will be available for purchase in the 2nd half of 2021.

The new MacBook Pro is also set to see a return of the MagSafe and is going to get a design upgrade amongst other minor tweaks.

If you are already using the old MacBook Pro with the M1 chip and don’t make a lot of video calls there’s good news.

These chips are future-proof which means you can continue to enjoy its benefits for years to come without needing many upgrades or repairs.
