As I already said, this is a great set for both professional and beginner painters. This particular set comes with 18 different shapes and styles of brushes. The brushes you get are:

Filbert Shaped Sizes: 2, 4, 6, 10

The ergonomic brush handles are made of wood and the bristles are synthetic fibers. The handles are a nice 11 ½” long and the bristles are all man made using a special anti-shedding material. Initially, the brushes are stiff; best to wash them with soap and water before first use. After a couple of uses with oil paint, the bristles cleaned very well with turpentine oil and none stripped/fell off. Always dry the brushes before storage, upright or flat on the side but never with the tip down. I believe that, if properly cared for, these brushes would last a long time. These brushes are suitable for oil, watercolor, or acrylic. Overall I think these are very nice and look professional. If you were ever unsure of these, but were considering them, I can honestly say I would definitely recommend them!
