This year Ms. Ma’am’s Prom season starts wayyyy earlier…..as in February. For the love of all things warm, I have to say that I’m not thrilled with the planning committee on this one. BUT, Little Girl wouldn’t miss it for the world. Y’all know by now that prom is a HUGE deal in our house. Since our Tennessee transplant we participated in the special needs prom five times and last year we added the Best Buddies venue to our calendars, meaning that Little Girl has been to prom six times! Lol….it never gets old; each magical night is more amazing to her than the one before.
Prom is a rite of passage in our young adult lives; one that many take for granted. A child with special needs is even less likely to go simply because he or she is different, but the program that Ms. Ma’am is a part of, is very aware of just how significant prom is and puts on a fiesta for their members that they will never forget. Great pains are taken to ensure that as many members as possible are able to attend and have the experience that someone without disabilities would have….limos, tuxedos, hair, makeup, boutonniere, corsage, catered foods, magical location…the works.
So obviously my house is buzzing with hairdo possibilities, potential dance partners, a thousand party night expectations, and of course all the hopes and dreams of a princess fairytale come true. This brings us to one critical component………..Prom Dress 2014!
The hunt for the perfect length, color, texture, innocence, style, and sass is in full swing. This pursuit has landed my online search engine at DressFirst, a sequined homecoming, laced prom dress, one of a kind bridal bodice, bride’s maid, dance shoe, matching handbag, party dress superstore!
DressFirst is filled with every girl’s fairytale vision come true. Whether she’s dreamed of her picture perfect prom dress, bridal magazine wedding gown, or every last detail of her homecoming crowning, it’s waiting to be had at DressFirst.com.
Unfortunately, mama has gotta think on the cheap and in comparison shopping, I found Dress First to be more than reasonable, especially for the quality and selection…..Flashy, classy, sassy, flirty, fun, sexy, shy, simple, extravagant, they’ve got a plethora of tastes and styles. Ms. Ma’am is sure to find “the dress” that commands a royal entrance (she is after all a princess) at DressFirst that won’t drain my entire bank account.

When shopping online, I’m pretty hard to please as far as site layout, but along with shopping with dress glee, I also enjoyed browsing the easy navigation of the DressFirst website (I literally clicked for hours). Pages load quickly and switching between browse options is easy with their sidebar menu. I’m a big fan of Live Chat and am happy to see that this is also available along with language translation and shop by pricing options.
With everyone I know that gearing up for prom this year. I’m happy to tell them about the affordable selection at Dress First there are literally hundreds of dresses to choose from and a large number of positive customer reviews. I’ve even got my eye on a little black something-something for me, because I could use a little magic myself. Go on have a little looksee (Hurry, free shipping ends on 01/19/2014).. ..you know you want a special dress too!
