Little girl hasn’t asked for anything for Christmas this year! Really, not one single thing and I of course have had no idea what to get for her….grrr she’s so much like my meme that it’s unreal!

My saving grace was her online shopping sprees that she’s had for her brothers. She mentioned one item that she thought was “sweet, for a princess.” Since, she is convinced that she is a princess, so I’m pretty sure that she meant “sweet” for her.

Though everything at Magic Cabin is fit for a princess (and a prince too)…so I wasn’t entirely surprised at her selection. She had pointed it out when clicking herself happy for the boys. I had told her that I would look at it later. Later was actually right then from my phone ;0)

A Lounge Pillow really was something I had been looking for because she spends so much time in her room working on word searches and workbooks. Some of her disabilities make it hard for her to get in and out of a chair or onto her “couch,” so she spends a lot of time on the floor, I know she’s got to be uncomfortable. A lounge pillow would give her a little support and a way to make the floor a bit more comfortable. I’d considered the standard solid colors and was going to get one anyway, but was kinda holding out for one with a bit more style or at least in a brighter color – the ones I’ve seen are just so bland. So when she saw the Sparkle Fairy Wings Lounge Pillow at Magic Cabin, I knew it was perfect.

I could hardly wait for it to arrive. I knew it would be true to Magic Cabin fashion and full of flair and the quality that we’ve come to expect from them, but I just didn’t expect that it would be so darned cute! It’s so her! Bright, cheery, and princess-esc.…. It’s the perfect shade of princess pink, soft, comfy, fairy wing shaped, extremely well made and compliments her fairy princess themed boudoir. I imagine it will be one of those things that she doesn’t leave home without, which will be handy with the little after Christmas surprise getaway that we have planned just for her ;0)

Magic Cabin is a great place to find inspiration for both boys and girls….It’s probably one of the most imagination filled shopping sites I personally know of. I’ve been back again and again since I discovered a catalog a number of years ago. It is likely that I love the sturdy, yet beautiful toys because they are as safe as they are fun…..it’s not surprising beginnings of Magic Cabin came from a stay at home mom :0)

While the Sparkle Fairy Wings Lounge Pillow was something that she wanted, it was really more of a need that I wanted her to have, so I obviously I didn’t wait for Christmas to give it to her and I’ve been left to scramble a bit for Christmas, but I’ve decided to go the last minute route and get her a Magic Cabin gift card. I used to think that gift cards were the easy way out, but she truly loves to shop online and seldom gets to do it for herself (not for fun stuff anyway), so after the Christmas morning aftermath has been cleared and dinner is in the oven, I know she’ll enjoy doing more than just browsing…..it’ll also give us a few minutes of time for just the two of us, which will make her feel extra special. I’m actually looking forward to it ;0)
