You can either be an employee of an organization or become a freelance assistant where you work for a few different people.

If you have sufficient expertise in a given field, such as history or English, then you should consider becoming a tutor. You can speak with your client via Skype or FaceTime. Unlike teaching positions, you do not need any certification to work as a tutor. You can also set your own rates, so you make as much money as you are comfortable with.

This is entry-level work, and you can do it from your laptop or smartphone.

In fact, if you are a stay at home mom, then you can write about your experiences with that. There are likely many companies that can benefit from your expertise.
There are numerous ways to make a living from the comfort of your home. You can work whenever it is most convenient for you while still keeping an eye on your little ones. In addition to being an excellent parent, you bring in extra income to help the family.
