If you’ve ever met me it’s safe to say you probably know that I love cats. When the folks at Ocean Media sent me their new game “I Love finding Cats Collector’s Edition” it made me smile so much. I’ve always enjoyed hidden object games, as well as those puzzles where you have to find the differences between two pictures. This game contains those and more!

I Love Finding Cats! Collector’s Edition is a classic Hidden Object game with a great selection of mini-games. Visit beautiful locations from across the globe while you find and collect adorable feline friends!

This game can be played either by using the Joy-Con controllers or touch. 

First let me tell you about the hidden object games. Each location features puzzles set in that scenery, all of which contain two areas to search. Each puzzle will give you a specific number of cats to find hidden in the picture. When you find the cats you hear a little meow. There’s also a list of the hidden objects you need to find as well. You can search the areas unassisted, or you can click ZR to zoom in and use a magnifying glass.

If you’re having a hard time finding an item you can ask for a hint. Hints refill with time, so if you need a second hint you’ll need to wait a minute or two. You finish a puzzle when you have found all of the hidden items, but finding all of the hidden cats is not a requirement to finish a puzzle.

In addition to the hidden object puzzles, there’s also some mini games you’ll see after each puzzle. First you see a mini game where you have to find the differences between two pictures. Then you’ll see a second mini game, which is usually a jigsaw puzzle. The only issue I have with the jigsaw puzzles is you don’t see a picture of the puzzle before you start, so you don’t know what the puzzle you have to assemble actually looks like. There are a couple of puzzles where you have to find the picture that belongs with a silhouette shape as well.

I’ve been enjoying playing Love Finding Cats! Collector’s Edition on the Switch. The graphics are colorful and pretty crisp. The puzzles are all cheerful and appropriate for players of all ages. If you’re a cat lover or someone who enjoys hidden object games, this game is a must have for your Switch collection.
