Here’s how to make them.

Equipment Needed

  • 2x medium mixing bowls
  • 1x large mixing bowl
  • baking sheet
  • parchment paper
  • measuring cups
  • measuring spoons
  • cooling rack

Ingredients 

  • 1x 15 oz box butter cake mix
  • 1x 8 oz container Cool Whip
  •  red food coloring
  • green food coloring 
  • 1 cup powered sugar 
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla 
  • 1 egg

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees f.

Place the Cool Whip, Cake Mix, Egg & Vanilla into a large mixing bowl and combine.

Separate the mixture into two medium sized bowls.

Add green food coloring to one bowl.

Add red food coloring to the second bowl.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Scoop 1 tablespoon sized balls onto the baking sheet.

Slightly flatten the balls once on the sheet.

Bake for 12-15 minutes. 

Once the cookies have finished baking, remove them from the oven and place them onto a cooling rack and let them cool for a few minutes.

Sprinkle powered sugar across the top of the cookies.

Serve & enjoy!
